Part of the reason I loved direct mail was that I could pretend I was a great designer. We had this assignment to invite architects and show them how to save money for their customers by working with Boston Edison as they designed their homes. This result of this mailing exceeded expectations on a very small budget. And it got me to design a cool little box.
